There's a lot about Ozempic we didn't have time to get into in this video, including more about medical discrimination around obesity and more context around recent drug shortages. This article from our website, written by Julia Belluz, provides more info: https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/23584679/ozempic-wegovy-semaglutide-weight-loss-obesity
I've one member of my fam who's doing that, and saying this is for diabete when this person never have it. I don't tend to believe this person bc the folks has a long period of struggle with weight loss + likes to lie a lot. But I'm worried 'cause there one bad symptom I've been recognizing since this person start to use that make total sense now and 2. it doesn't seem to work it's been +6 months this person doing this and + don't do any exercise, neither food, the folks eating not regurlarly and and enough, so there's no results. I don't know how to resonnate my member of family, but here's a warning for ppl want to use.
You have to practice sport + and eating correctly + in a healthy way otherwise it does not work at all.
What could possibly go wrong.
This aged poorly
PLEASE DONT DO THIS just weight loss!!! There ARE LONG TERM EFFECTS and People who really need the pens for actual medical conditions cant get the pens because of the temporary weight lose craze. Children are going without needed meds!!!
In Australia I've been waiting 18 months to use the medication and just took my second injection. For me the weight loss isn't important and am hoping this drug will replace the other 3 meds I take for the diabetes.
On my first week trial run 4 days in noticed getting full with less food ,side effects aren't to bad , my sugar levels have got way better 100-135 average I'm ready to continue this road
Ok it is a way to trick your brain,
Not needed for people who are master of themselves
Paid ad much 🙄
All you need is some "Wennie" and the pounds will melt off. Just ask the Big Jack dude in the back of the gym for a real cutting agent. lol 😂
Y’all wanna help this drug be available for diabetics but still don’t wanna get the price of insulin lower.
Why just people cannot be taught to controll themselves? And why dont you stop selling these terrible BigGulps and junk food???
Diabetics can't afford it because insurance companies want you to pay a deductible with your prescription and I am retired and can't afford $800 a month lower the price for diabetics. Because people with money getting this prescription and not a diabetic but we need it for our A1C and can't afford it.
1st world problem (type2 diabetes), many of the boomers i know who use Ozempic are morbidly obese, have great health insurance, pensions, but worst of all – they havent changed their eating habits. When i got gired at JNJ, mandatory company history training, we learned that their top drugs and prodcts were related to type 2 diabetes.

❤
dont take it, my mom took ozempik and got kidney failure and she's on dialysis
Even if ozempic helps lose weight, we still have to focus on food addiction and the “food science” of fast food industry. You can be full and still want to eat
Or eat fiber instead of relying on a drug to make u feel full; or have self control?
Yer wait till the anxiety and depression kicks in!
Revolutionize cheating exercise and healthy diet with drugs. Side effects include 😡🤬
Americans are so big
Usually vox paints a full picture. Wish they had for this video :/
and what if companies like mcdonalds and coca cola is using money to spread misinformation about this drug to prevent people from buying it? because becoming skinny = lost marketshare for these companies.
Uh type 2 diabetes is reversible via a keto diet …thus sensitizing yourself to insulin again…
The simple answer to the question posed here is: at the new high dose levels of these GLP-1 agonists, we can’t possibly assume there won’t be serious long-term consequences for many people. Major organs and tissue throughout your body is replete with GLP-1 receptors many of which we don’t even understand their function. Don’t you think these drugs are impacting those receptors as well? Can anyone comfortably predict that the impact on these receptors will be benign? These drugs should be leaned into with the same strategy thinking people approached the jab that was recently forced on us: if one is so old, frail, and burdened with co-morbidities, or in this case morbidly obese, that life itself is a burden, what have you got to lose? The only people who should have ever taken that experimental jab are mostly the same people who can’t be harmed much by these experimental interventions. “First do no harm” was discarded with the ushering in of the Germ Theory of Disease.
Nice i am buying me some, this makes weight loss so much easier :] Will probably use half the dose though. This makes life so much easier for everyone, really a miracle drug it seems.
I’ve just learnt about GI tract and endocrine pathways and this video popped up on my feed
I’m so not being monitored lol 😅
If you don't want your muscles to deteriorate, don't use this product. Be very cautious with this and ALL drugs.
Or exercise.
Usually heart palpitations are caused by too big of a meal. You have to watch the size of your meals.
The claimed weight loss stats for this product can easily be achieved through eating and 1/2 hr of walking per day.
Kinda useless. I was expecting a true how it works video
This will produce massive amounts of tarded people. Just imagine the state of brain of sombody who never exercise, just take this
It gave her Chest Pain and she came back to Ozempic beacuse? Ah y, we all know why.
Dangerous.
Try 1 week on bacon eggs and steak.. your hunger will go away! Low Carb, Keto, Carnivore and skip all the drugs….
You Did Not Choose To Be Classified As Diabetic, But You Can Choose To Fight Back Against Diabetes 💪
My sister is a way bigger than I am and seen her secretly disposed injector pens. She is prediabetic category or full blown diabetes now. Anyhow her quick fix loose weight is not going to work because she's lazy, won't exercise and eats like a pig.
You know, you can reverse Type 2 diabetes AND obesity by fasting. No drugs, no surgery, no cost. It baffles me how people want a "quick fix" that either doesn't work or has dangerous side effects over something that is natural, safe, and free.
I have a lots of Ozempic. Im diabetic but I dont wanna take the Ozemic. So I have loads of it.
Thanks for the informative & positive video! I wish you the best! 🌻
If someone is insulin resistant, their pancreas produces MORE insulin to compensate, not less. You should consult an expert before making a video about medical matters.
What is this? An advertisement??
Fantastic vid Kristie. Im 57 and non diabetic but was 82kgs now 102 kg I was am desperate enough to contemplate a course of Ozempic…after watching this….um no, absolutely diet yes and also stop just watching your vids but actually DO your exercises ! 😊👏👏
Commercials for prescription drugs are an American sickness
