Where is your zone? My zone is 8 and I’m wondering how many of the , I can grow. Especially it was hot this summer…
It seems like you're losing weight I can tell it in your face
I personally grow stinging nettle and have it as my #1 herb
Please, please, please do a few videos of how to harvest and use these herbs. Thanks for all you do.
Wonderful post.
Wow, this thread is fantastic and just what I’ve been looking for as I start my health herb garden.. Thanks for posting and thanks for those who shared their recommendations too. Brilliant.
Wow! Jinnie, you have a lot of knowledge in that noggin. Please continue to share and teach. We need more for our younger women. I am 70 and try to pass on as much as they will listen to, and as much as they can stand! Blessings from the Great State of Texas.
My addition would be YARROW🌿🌱Yarrow🌿 is known to STOP BLEEDING! Externally AND Internally!! 🌱🌿
💚God is SO GOOD💚
Jinnie how about sharing the recipes you use for these herbs😊
Great information! I love your haul videos too. Please don't get offended but "mullein" is pronounced "muh-lin" and "salve" rhymes with "have." Thanks.
Awesome list! Thanks so much for doing the research for us👍
Thanks for sharing!!!
I enjoy Rosemary 👍
Borage flower and leaves are used for fever, cough, and depression. Borage is also used for a hormone problem called adrenal insufficiency, for "blood purification," to increase urine flow, to prevent inflammation of the lungs, as a sedative, and to promote sweating. you need this one to plus the flowers are beautiful ❤️
I must live under a rock. I only knew three of the 10 you mention! There are several that are not from my area, and I think that some of the ones that you mentioned are probably native to yours. Thank you for very interesting video however I don’t think I’ll grow any of them and I’m not very adventuresome! Good job!
Mullein is pronounced Muh-Len I believe.
Great list, Jinne! Can anyone recommend a good herb book with photos, uses, and how to prepare? TIA!
Thank you! This was so very helpful!!
I'm looking for an alternative to thyroid meds. Anyone have any natural solutions? Greatly appreciate any information. I ask here because I don't just trust anything on internet lol. Thank you!
Great video, Jinne! TFS! Have a great day!
Can you show us the way to make the herbs into the way to consume them for the health benefits?
Another one that I have is Feverfew. It is good for headaches and migraines
I saved this video so I can go back and reference it later when needed…. God Bless and prayers to all ❤
Hi Jinne 👋
Thanks Jinnie, good list of great perennial herbs and their uses. Parsley and Basil are two tender annuals that you can grow year round inside even in a sunny window. If it becomes harder to get the spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and others from overseas, having great herbs that can be grown right here in home gardens will really be great to flavor your meals. I saw a tip, take a regular brown paper bag like for lunches, punch holes in it and then you can clip herbs, put them inside the bags and then air dry them. I have a drying rack I use for laundry and I just clip the bags with the tops folded over using a clothespin and it worked great. Dried sage, peppermint, dill and more and didn't have to use an electric dehydrator.
Wow. That was really helpful. Thank you so much….. with greetings from Germany
I left some of my calendula in the pot, let it dry out, and it already came back (SF area). 🙂
to start all of this would you need heirloom only?
Great info, thanks
Love this..please do more content like this. 😊
I am limited, with no Garden, but have a Balcony, so do grow some Herbs.
I do have many Essential oils, as part of my Medicines though.
TFS HC, take care & keep busy everyone. ❤🙂🐶
I would also like to add yarrow on the medicinal herbs list, great to use a bleed stopper and then can be covered with comfrey for more healing, like for a deep cut and you can't get to a doctor. Do your research on any herb's first before using any of these, especially if you're taking the blood thinner (warfarin/Coumadin). Blessings to y'all.🙏❤️
Hibiscus is a good tea for lowering blood pressure.
Check out the toothache plant. It's good for sores in the mouth. Borage is also beautiful and useful.
