Withdrawal symptoms are considerable ,fantastic stuff provided one continues to take, indefinitely…
You may disagree, but I speak from experience, and as many others have found.
"…ask your doctor…" Come on, you're joking, right? Doctors know nothing about alternative remedies and usually aren't interested in learning about them.
As for long term effects, I read recently that long term use can cause drowsiness. Go figure, an herbal remedy that gives you energy can cause drowsiness in the long run.

Thank you 😊

New subscribers, very informative information ❤
Ashwagandha has definitely helped me. I think you forgot to mention that Ashwagandha boosts testosterone as well. Im starting to notice more hair growth
Thank you so much for your sincere research on different health topics.
Could you please provide a video on PSORIASIS. Thank you so much!!!❤
I must get my bloods done again. I've been taking ashwagandha for the past 2 months mainly for anxiety. I'm post menopausal and hypothyroid also. For over a month now, not only have my anxiety levels decreased phenomenally but my night sweats have almost stopped completely. Every now and then I get a hot flush but nothing like what they used to be and far less frequent and possibly more to do with the spell of hot weather we had here in Ireland. It would be very interesting to see if it has affected my hormone levels. Great video. Thank you for this.
Very good video. FWIW, I've been taking 900 mgs. of Ashwagandha for many years now, taking a one week break every 2 months. I'm hypothyroid and have a couple of very serious conditions and take 5 medications. It has not had any adverse effects on my blood markers or anywhere else. For about 2 years, I had to add Seriphos to get my cortisol down, but now the Ashwagandha alone is enough.
Do this in ASMR. You'll blow up.
Ashwagandha has allowed my 74 year old father to get off his anxiety meds!
Nothing about it giving people with hypertheroism heart palpitations?
I having hormonal imbalance due to monopause…..will it help
Does ashwagandha cause hyperthyroidism?
not me i hate the american accent id kill my self if i had that in my ear all day
It can have side effects. After taking Ashwagandha for several months, I developed severe diarrhea and the smell of almost all foods made me super nauseous. It took me two weeks to finally get over it and a couple months later I tried taking it again to rule out correlation rather than causation. The nausea and intestinal problem returned the first day.
I’m a big golfer and thought it would help with reducing stress and anxiety but unfortunately didnt do much for me
This man's videos are perfection. Good information on research, perfectly paced, and great delivery!
So uhh, should I take it if I already feel extremely relaxed (to the point of it being almost unhealthy?). I mostly want it for gym gains.
What about liver enzymes sky rocketing when on Ashwaghanda?
Anyone know why Ashwagandha gives me horrible heart palpitations? I really had high hopes for this supplement but I had to stop taking it because my heart was constantly "flip flopping" in my chest.
Hello, I am a specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from Germany. Ashwagandha also started gaining some traction in Europe over the last years as I hear from patients and acquaintances about this herbal extract. I only had one experience with the herb when a young woman presented with jaundice under ashwagandha and had cholestatic liver injury. The liver injury resolved after ceasing the intake of ashwagandha.
I am generally skeptical of use of supplements in otherwise healty subjects, as a balanced and healthy diet should provide all the needed nutrients. Even though you were kind enough to provide a review of literature, we still do not know much about long term effects and possible interactions with oder drugs. So unless my patients have a documented illness or deficiency of some nutrient I usually advise against supplements.
A couple of questions:At what levels do you see anhedonia? Also, are the mg you discuss straight herb or extract? An extract of 15:1 600mg is 7200mg equivalent. Is that does safe?
What about the popular side effect of emotional numbness that many ppl reported after taking it for just 30 days?
pretty sure stress didn't exist at the time the herb was used in ancient india…what was it used for 2000 yrs ago ?
Can u take it if u are ckd stage 4 with proteinuria
I do feel an overall wellness feeling
Ashwaganda helped drop my blood pressure from 147 over 91 to 123 over 73

Talk to my doctor, seriously do you think my doctor or most peoples doctors have any clue what it even is
Most doctors are basically illiterate/ignorant when it comes to nutritional health
Its a good antidepressant for some or more than some.
Bruh, I got a bottle of the stuff from Walmart(so the quality isn’t the best) and I’ve found that ashwa whatever knocks me out cold. And I’m taking one a day.
