I was just thinking aww how nice purple flowers , and then i needed to mow the lawn . And after i mow the lawn i see this video and now i feel bad xDDDDDDDDDD its okay though they grow like crazy in my yard. I will begin collecting them =)))) i did see bees working away at them before i needed t cut grass. Also the plant that i was working hard to destroy but which showed so much stubborness in living so i left it alone turns out to be Burdock whos roots turns out have been used for medicinal purposes since forever…. I wonder if i should leave my whole lawn alone……
My garden luckily is full of it 😊
It's best when trying new plants to start in extreme moderation in case of allergic reaction. I tried a couple flowers of it today. No real flavor but they were likely too small to have flavor.

ok i fell in love with this herbal healing thing! may i ask- how do i make the self heal ointment? i didnt get that
Thank you so much for this treasure trove of information!! I planted Self Heal seeds last year that I sources from 'Strictly Medicial Seeds'. The plant grew but didn't bloom but I expected that as many perennials don't put on a good show until the following year and onward. This year it's flowered BEAUTIFULLY and I absolutely LOVE it! I love it so much that I divided it and planted little masses of it in several different spots around my yard, garden and flower beds. The bees seem love it as well. Since I finally have flowers this year I had been wondering if it was as straight forward as most herbs where you just harvest, dry and store or use fresh as needed. I always like to make sure I'm using herbs properly for safety. Thanks a million!
ALSO, What style of tea mug set up is that? Does it have a name? And where did you get it from?? I'd live to find something like that. Would certainly save me thr trouble of needing different tools and things to make it. Just poor over a straining cup that nests nicely right over the top of the mug = YES PLEASE!
Thank you for this very informative video, you have a new subscriber. By the way I love the mug you steeped your tea in, where can I get one?
Thank you, very informative, and I just found your site.
Blessings!!

Talk to a physician? They know NOTHING about herbal medicine. Terrible advice.
Thank you 🦉🍀🇨🇮💛
Great video! I adore self-heal as well. You’ve given me a few more reasons to appreciate it. ❤
This plant volunteered in my main garden area this year. Oh and it's 2 ft tall and still going!
Thank you for the video, you provided a lot of information but in a way that was easy to listen to. I stumbled across this plant hiking in Washington , and not knowing what it was took some pictures . Now I’ll be on the look out for it in the future. Keep up the good work!
What a remarkable video. Very informative, with great pictures and identifiers. The information that you provided was exceptional. I’m so excited about this plant. Now if I could just find some. I have a very tiny yard, and not sure where to go foraging. Thank you so much! I just subscribed to your channel.
Just discovered this is the “weed” growing all over my front garden. It looks so pretty, and now just had my first tea.
Here in southeast Kentucky this looks like Dead Nettle
Edit: Just saw your other video on this… okay then 🙂
