#1 Home Remedy to Remove Dental Plaque & Tarter to Prevent Cavities | Dr. Mandell
Taking the time to take care of your teeth can help to keep your smile looking its best!
Are you looking for ways to remove plaque build-up from your teeth? Plaque can be a menace, leading to cavities, gum disease, and bad breath. But don’t fear, there are several ways to arm yourself against plaque and keep your mouth healthy and looking its best!
First, brushing your teeth is the cornerstone of oral hygiene. Choose a soft-bristled brush and fluoride toothpaste and brush for at least two minutes, focusing on areas around your gum line. It’s also important to floss daily. Waxed floss and interdental brushes can help to remove food particles and plaque from hard-to-reach areas.
In addition to brushing and flossing, using a good mouthwash and a tongue scraper can help to reduce bad breath and keep plaque at bay. Mouthwash that contains fluoride or antimicrobial ingredients can help to reduce plaque and freshen your breath. While tongue scrapers can help to remove bacteria and food particles from the surface of your tongue.
Finally, it’s important to visit your dentist regularly for check-ups and professional cleanings. Your dentist can identify potential issues and provide treatment if necessary.
By following these simple steps, you can help to keep your smile shining and your mouth healthy and plaque-free. Regular brushing, flossing, mouthwash, and dentist visits are your best weapons against plaque. So don’t wait, take the time to take care of your teeth and keep your smile looking its best!

I don't understand how I could keep it for 15 minutes, it dissolves pretty quickly because of the saliva, does anybody know?
I just brush my teeth with baking soda, there is a lot of negative ingredients in toothpast..
How often do you recommend doing this?
Use Alumn on canker sores
I heard from a dentist that using backing soda may cause gums to recede..

I have been using ONLY coconut oil on my teeth for brushing & oil pulling.
My dental hygienist asked what I was doing to keep my mouth so healthy. Then my dentist came in for the exam and he asked the same thing. My answer: Weston A. Price diet, drinking lots of water & using only coconut oil for dental hygiene.
Note: I am also a healthy weight, have no depression or other issues, and take no medications. I only see the doctor once a year for a routine annual exam.
Ha Ha you are advertising. Use the right soda because some are abrasive
Now dental offices are telling people. Long overdue. The hygienist said we all went to a seminar and they told us. I said this remedy has been used for decades. She looked at me perplexed. Thank you Motivation Doc for all you do.
When i use baking soda i always get that sensitive gum.
t can damage the enamel which may cause the teeth to become more sensitive than they should be to hot or cold temperatures, and it can also make brushing your teeth by itself painful. Damage to the enamel can also make the teeth more likely to attract cavities.
Adding bicarbonate of soda is an excellent idea. I do this too. Just wondering about oral hygiene and tooth health, what is your opinion of adding egg shell powder to toothpaste to remineralise teeth naturally?
How often a week would you leave on your teeth for the 15 minutes thanks
Dental Pro 7 is the best tooth oil i ever used .
The price is high but worth it .
I have a problem with tartar/calculus on the inside of my permanent lingual retainer (bottom teeth). Will this baking soda treatment impact the adhesive/wire of my retainer? I really want to try it! Thanks.
